In the Northern Highlands of Scotland, things have not changed much for years. It has mainly been a Liberal Democrat seat, with the SNP in power since the last referendum. I am afraid I might have had something to do with that. However, Northern Ireland is the order of the day, and the unfolding situation there. This programme does not aim to dictate, but to try to give a low key balanced view, and of course, finances will most definitely come into it. Both places are propped up with public money, but at least Scotland does its best. Not so Northern Ireland I am afraid.</p>","author_name":"Tina Irving"}
