In this message, guest speaker Brian Mills explores the story of Gideon in Judges 6 and reminds us that feeling inadequate doesn't mean we're incapable of answering God's call.

When we meet Gideon, he's hiding in a winepress, threshing wheat in secret to protect what little he has from the Midianites. He's fearful, outnumbered, and convinced he's not the person God needs. Yet God calls him a mighty man of valor.

Gideon's response is honest. If God is really with His people, why has so much gone wrong? It's a question many of us have asked when our circumstances don't make sense or when the challenges in front of us seem overwhelming.

But God's answer to Gideon is surprisingly simple: "I will be with you."

God doesn't promise that the circumstances will be easy or that Gideon will suddenly feel capable. He gives him something better: the assurance of His presence.

This message invites us to consider what it means to trust God when we feel unqualified, overwhelmed, or inadequate. Our confidence doesn't have to come from our abilities or our circumstances. It can rest in the promise that God is with us.

When the task feels bigger than you, are you willing to trust the One who calls you?

**Scripture:** Judges 6

*Conversations in the Barn | Guest Speaker Brian Mills | Black Hills Cowboy Church, Beulah, Wyoming*
","author_name":"Black Hills Cowboy Church"}
