Martha Bolton founded Not Bad for a Girl, a collective of women, non-binary and trans DJs, when she realised how much her local music scene was lacking in diversity. They have spent the past few years loudly and proudly running events, playing festivals and even launching a record label. They are a masterclass in how to take up space, even when you’re not invited to the table.
