Throughout his distinguished career, he has played a major role in postgraduate education, teaching extensively at both the Lebanese University and University of Toronto, where he received multiple teaching awards in recognition of his outstanding contribution to dental education.</p><p><br></p><p>A respected researcher and international speaker, Ghassan has published widely in peer-reviewed endodontic journals and delivered lectures and continuing education courses across the globe. He currently practises endodontics on a part-time benevolent basis and serves as a visiting professor at Saint Joseph University.</p><p>Widely recognised as the inventor of single-file endodontics and asymmetrical mechanical reciprocation, his work has fundamentally shaped the basis of modern reciprocation in endodontic treatment. His innovations continue to redefine the field, from advancing root canal disinfection and pulpal anaesthesia to introducing groundbreaking concepts such as non-instrumentation root canal management.</p><p><br></p><p>He has also developed transformative approaches for the emergency treatment of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis, eliminating the need for pulpotomy or pulpectomy in certain cases, as well as novel methods for achieving reliable pulpal anaesthesia in challenging mandibular molars without supplementary injections.</p><p>Today, we have the privilege of hearing directly from a clinician, educator, researcher, and true innovator whose work has changed the way endodontics is practised worldwide.
