This episode is a slightly different one and comes to you in a sort of storyteller format. Unfortunately, I messed up the original audio and couldn't save it to play the real-life interview. We live and we learn!

This edition I talk to you about my meeting with Puma Camille (Insta: @pumacamille), a charming and beautiful artist from Campinas, in the Sao Paolo state of Brasil. We met in Sao Paolo city where we hung out for a Sunday evening and Puma told me about the performance art style she has developed which is a combination of Capoeira; a martial-arts style performance art, and vogueing; a dance style developed by queer and trans people of colour in the US between the late 60s and 80s.

Puma told me about life for her growing up, the power of the 2 dance styles and how she combines the 2 dance styles in order for them to offer something important to each other that each were possibly missing before.

This was a fantastic conversation and encounter with a talented and wise person that I am so so grateful for. I hope I have done Puma's story justice and I hope that you enjoy it!

Don't forget if you want to talk about the episode or think you know someone you think I should feature, find me on Insta: @queerworldpodcast or email me on queerworldpodcast@gmail.com. Loads of love!
","author_name":"Logan Partridge"}
