This morning Tommy Marren was joined by Kathleen a victim of abuse and Tom Brophy Chairperson of the Federation for Victim Assistance. Kathleen spoke of her personal experiences and the assistance that she received from the Federation for Victim Assistance. Tom spoke of the work that is done within the organisation. February 22nd each year is dedicated to European Day for Crime Victims and this year on Sunday 23rd February Victim Assistance are organising a special Mass in Knock Basilica to mark the occasion and remember all victims of crime and trauma throughout Ireland.
