{"version":"1.0","type":"rich","provider_name":"Acast","provider_url":"https://acast.com","height":250,"width":700,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://embed.acast.com/$/64d53bc8af8fd800117b9642/66e7ace958d4122cd9c6096d?\" frameBorder=\"0\" width=\"700\" height=\"250\"></iframe>","title":"Mother makes shock discovery in daughter's car after she was stabbed to death by her violent husband during Bible study","description":"<p>A Minnesota woman who was stabbed to death by her husband during Bible study had divorce papers in her car, her mother revealed.</p><p><br></p><p>Robert Castillo, 41, was sentenced to 33 years in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to one count of second-degree murder earlier this year.</p><p><br></p><p>On March 21, 2023, Castillo stabbed his 41-year-old wife Corrina Woodhull over 20 times while the two attended Bible study at a family member's house.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>During her victim impact statement Woodhull's mother, Linda Castle, said when went to retrieve her belongings from her car they found divorce papers inside, reported KSTP.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The couple was attending a weekly Bible study at Castillo's sister's home on the 1000 block of Maryland Avenue East in St. Paul.</p><p><br></p><p>Castillo stabbed Woodhull up to 20 times with a six-inch blade after he had whispered something in her ear and she shook her head no.</p><p><br></p><p>After stabbing her, witnesses claimed the mother-of-five begged them not to let her die.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Prior to the stabbing, Castillo's sister said the pair had been 'acting normally' and that he was holding her hand and kissing her, according to the Pioneer Press.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>His sister and brother saw Castillo stab Woodhull with a hunting knife. Woodhull attempted to grab Castillo's hair to pull him off her, but family members had to intervene and pull him away, his sister said.&nbsp;</p>","author_name":"Daily SumUp"}
