And then you don't have to talk to 600 people.&nbsp;</p><p>'It will scan all of San Francisco for you and say: \"These are the three people you really outta meet.\"'</p><p>Herd added that she wished for AI to help people 'create more healthy and equitable relationships.'&nbsp;</p><p>Bumble spokesperson later told&nbsp;NBC&nbsp;that&nbsp;the company can 'see a future where AI can continue to foster' positive relationships among people.&nbsp;</p><p>'Bumble is a place to make safe, kind and authentic connections, helping people to meet online, to then take the connection offline,' the statement read.&nbsp;</p><p>Earlier this month, Bumble hit the headlines after it&nbsp;ditched its long-standing requirement for female users to initiate contact.&nbsp;</p><p>The dating app announced a major app update and redesign, including a new 'opening move' tool.&nbsp;</p><p>This allows users - both male and female - to set a question for their matches to answer as a way of starting the conversation.</p><p>Lidiane Jones, Bumble's chief executive, said: 'We have always believed that when you make dating better for women, you make it better for everyone.&nbsp;</p><p>'In listening to our community, many have shared their exhaustion with the current online dating experience, and for some, that includes making the first move.'</p><p><br></p><p>Talking about the app's recent rebrand, Herd added: 'We will not be a dating app in a few years.&nbsp;</p><p>'Dating will be a component, but we will be a true human connection platform.&nbsp;</p><p>'This is where you will meet anyone you want to meet — a hiking buddy, a mahjong buddy, whatever you're looking for.'</p><p><br></p>","author_name":"Daily SumUp"}
