Every life is moving in a direction—even when it feels like we’re standing still. Our hearts quietly point us somewhere through repeated desires and decisions. Wisdom is not just knowing what is right; it is having a heart oriented toward what is fitting and life-giving.
A foolish heart drifts—not always toward evil, but often toward what feels easier, safer, or more convenient. Over time, small misalignments in the heart can lead us far from God’s purposes.
Reflection: If your current desires continue unchecked, where will they lead you a year from now?
Prayer: God, reorient my heart. Train it to lean toward Your ways, even when they are hard.
