A Home Park humbling! Stockport County came, saw and conquered as Argyle suffered a 3-1 defeat in the opening League One game of the season. Part One is all about the game and a performance where Argyle were second best from the outset. Stockport's shape, midfield control and ability to play through the press caused problems, while Argyle struggled to create a clear attacking identity. Individual errors played their part, but was the bigger issue tactical? There is plenty of discussion around Evans and Pepple, Ibrahim's encouraging cameo, Amaechi's goal, Cooper's performance and the opportunities for the younger players.
