In this challenging and encouraging message, we explore how Jesus trained His disciples to move from watching miracles happen to stepping out in faith, authority, and Kingdom purpose.
Through a story of a stormy drive home, we discover how passengers and drivers see the road differently. Passengers can sit back and enjoy the journey, but drivers must stay alert, recognise the signs, and take responsibility for the direction of travel.
Drawing on Luke 9, Mark 6, Mark 8, Mark 9, and Acts 1 and 5, we follow the disciples’ journey as they learn, stumble, grow, and step into the authority Jesus entrusted to them. We also discover an important truth: even those who have walked in spiritual authority can become exhausted, discouraged, or stuck — and sometimes the next step is to receive help, find restoration, and get moving again.
In this message, you'll discover:
- 🚗 The difference between coasting as a passenger and taking responsibility as a driver.
- 🔥 How Jesus trained His disciples to grow in faith and spiritual authority.
- 👀 How to recognise when you’re missing important turns in your spiritual journey.
- 🙌 Why even experienced leaders need support, encouragement, and restoration.
- 🗝️ How to respond to God's calling and step forward into your Kingdom purpose.
The challenge is simple: **Where are you coasting when God is calling you to move forward?**
Whether you need to take your first step of faith, rediscover your calling, or receive the support you need to get back on the road, this message will encourage you to respond to what God is inviting you into.
You are not called merely to watch what God is doing. You are invited to participate in His Kingdom.
**You hold the keys. It's time to move!**
🙏 Watch, reflect, and ask God where He is calling you to take the next step.
