Here is a collection of three Chinese Mythological Stories. As it is the year of the rabbit I read the story of the Rabbit in The Moon. Many Asian countries believe the dark markings of the moon look like a rabbit and have a story on how he came to live there.
The second story is about the Lady in The Moon. The companion of the Rabbit who is celebrated at the Mooncake Mid-Autumn festival.
The episode ends with the Zodiac race, the story of the race of the animals and how the top twelve finishers were honoured with a place in the Zodiac calendar by the Jade Emperor.
