It must be breakup season...
Because the DMs have been flooding in. The check-ins have been heavy. And I know that right now there are women listening to this who are sitting in an apartment that feels too quiet, wondering how something that was their whole world can just... stop.
I have been that woman. And I want to talk to her today.
Not with the generic get back out there energy. Not with the toxic positivity that makes you feel worse. But with the real honest conversation about what it actually feels like to lose yourself in someone - and what it takes to find yourself again on the other side.

The loneliness is not the worst part. The worst part is looking in the mirror and not recognising the person looking back at you. The worst part is realising you gave so much of yourself away that you do not know who you are without them.
