Adventuresmiths are the makers and creators of adventure in all its forms, in real life or fiction. This is the first of three special episodes in which Georgina talks to the authors shortlisted for the coveted 2026 Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize. She is joined is the studio by Harry Whitehead, author of White Road and Clare Whitfield, author of Poor Girls. They discuss the strong women at the heart of their novels, and share their own adventurous experiences, including a moment that could have marked the end for Harry Whitehead, but will instead be worked into a novel.
