Tropical Blur is a mixtape series blending world music with electronic experimentations, a music style and concept known as Fourth World Music and pioneered by the works and philosophy of American composer Jon Hassell. This series also tends to interrogate the concept of exoticism, by building bridges and blurring the lines between world musical traditions and sonic abstractions.
