Most focus on a specific society, civilization, culture, or nation (e.g. Rome or China) but yours seems to be about the land of Aotearoa/New Zealand itself, with both the Maori and later the European colonists being just one part of that history. Was that a deliberate choice on your part? Is it a reflection of your background as a conservationist? Do you think this focus will change as the narrative moves into the colonial period.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"http://historyaotearoa.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Check out the website and shownotes!</a></p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.patreon.com/historyaotearoa\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Become a Patron!</a></p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://teespring.com/stores/hanz-podcast\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Buy some merch!</a></p>","author_name":"Thomas Rillstone"}
