Pixar's breakout animator/director, John Lasseter, with an impressive team would help usher in a new wave of iconic animated films using computers in a way that had not been used in this medium prior to the breakout of Toy Story. With a great team, top notch story and mind blowing visuals, the only thing left to bring these characters to life was A-list of voice actors.  Lending his talents and taking on the role of Woody, was Tom Hanks and his later best friend and delusional space ranger Buzz Lightyear was voiced by Tim Allen. Supporting voice rolls were; Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Don Rickles as Mr Potato Head, Jim Varney as Slinky Dog, Wallace Shawn as Rex, John Ratzenberger as Hamm, John Morris as Andy, Laurie Metcalf as Mrs Davis,  and R. Lee Ermey as Sergeant. This 90s classic has gone on to spawn a nearly 30 year franchise complete with 3 sequels with a 5th film announced as of last year, which is safe to say these lovable characters will be around for many years to come.
