In a weathered static caravan in the sleepy seaside town of Rhyl, 24-year-old Tim Jones drifts through life, long removed from the days he was hailed as a snooker prodigy. Since the tragic death of his beloved grandad a decade ago, Tim has shelved his cue—and his dreams—trading them for a soul-sapping job on an assembly line. But when he's fired by his overbearing manager, Simon, Tim hits rock bottom. Back at the caravan, amidst a fog of frustration, Tim stumbles upon a secret panel containing his grandad’s old birdwatching notebook. Inside lies a single unfulfilled wish: spotting the legendary and elusive Welsh Kite. Seeing this as a final chance to connect with the man who meant everything to him, Tim sets off on an unlikely adventure to the rugged peaks of Tryfan. But Tim’s journey becomes more perilous than he ever imagined—especially with the strange and suspicious Chris Eubank (yes, that Chris Eubank) mysteriously tracking his every move. Now, Tim must face harsh terrain, his inner demons, and possibly an ex-professional boxer, all in pursuit of a bird that may not even exist. From snooker halls to mountaintops, cue balls to rare eggs, this is an all-made-up story like you've never heard before.
