Then as I was 75% done with editing, they tried to interrupt me to come do a house task with no warning. I said no! That felt like a big deal because letting myself follow this task to completion felt really good, and I would have been battling dysregulation if I'd gone to do something completely unrelated. </em></p><p><br></p><h2>Some links Fergus recommended for further reading on monotropism: </h2><ol><li><a href=\"https://monotropism.org/explanations/adhd/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">ADHD and Monotropism</a></li><li><a href=\"https://monotropism.org/in-practice/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Monotropism in Practice</a> </li><li><a href=\"https://medium.com/@sonnyhallett/loops-of-concern-ff792eebad03\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Loops of Concern</a> (self-help for autistic rumination)</li><li><a href=\"https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/autism-tips-teachers-autistic-teacher\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Autism Tips for Teachers</a></li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Resources:</strong></p><ol><li><a href=\"https://www.patreon.com/mattia/about\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Like Your Brain</a>&nbsp;community space</li><li><a href=\"https://www.audhdflourishing.com/blog/categories/resource-library\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Resources Blog</a> &amp; <a href=\"https://www.audhdflourishing.com/contact\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Contact Form</a></li><li><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/document/d/1af--Bdjiwe_3nSMNnvgBRRsj5WT8DmJ_SX0VzPd9_PU/edit?usp=sharing\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Transcript Doc</a> (as of posting this episode in early Feb 2024, I'm a few episodes behind &amp; hoping to catch up soon!) </li><li><a href=\"https://mattia.ck.page/a6b7c9bf09\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Email Newsletter</a></li></ol>","author_name":"Mattia Maurée"}
