Michael Parisi is one of Australia’s most respected music industry executives, with more than 30 years of experience discovering, signing and developing some of the country’s biggest artists.
He began his career in music journalism before joining Warner Music in the early 1990s, going on to work across major labels and independent ventures, including Sputnik Records and Mushroom Records, where he served as Managing Director.
Throughout his career, he has been involved with major acts including Muse, The Whitlams, Regurgitator, The Superjesus, Kylie Minogue, Eskimo Joe and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Today, Michael works in artist management and music consultancy, helping guide the careers of artists including Xavier Rudd, Dan Sultan, Vera Blue and Polish Club. He is also the host of Vinyl Tap – Inside the Music Industry, a podcast that draws back the curtain on the people, stories and decisions that have shaped the Australian and international music business.
