This month, we're releasing two versions of an episode that we already released years ago! Why? Because we love this episode, and we thought it'd be a fun one to do on the road for our 20th anniversary shows last year. Turns out it was!
\"Prelude to a Fish\" is one of those episodes that just came together, from its original ridiculous idea (\"what if The Little Mermaid but also Splash but also Creature from the Black Lagoon?\") to the final touch, which was a riff on \"Kiss the Girl\" written by our friends Paul and Storm. Paul and Paget, of course, play it perfectly every time, and the WorkJuice Players who appear as animals are absolutely hilarious and have a blast out-sillying each other.
We first staged this episode at SF Sketchfest on Jan 25, 2014 and then again at Largo in LA during our regular monthly run on Feb 1, 2014.
