On this episode I give you a brief history of Smokey Bear. It's not the most detailed history, but it's more of the obscure details in the history of an American Icon of the outdoors. I then talk about the Smokey Bear birthday party my family attended at the Cradle of Forestry in America in early August. (Spoiler: I would recommend anyone with children and all children at heart who enjoy the outdoors to not only attend the party in future years, but to check out the Cradle of Forestry itself if given the opportunity.)
