What does it really mean when Scripture says that love “keeps no record of wrongs”?

Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending the hurt never happened. It doesn’t even mean forgetting what someone did. It means choosing not to continually use the past as a debt against them.
Ed also examines how keeping score can turn unresolved anger into resentment and bitterness, and why extending mercy may be one of the clearest demonstrations of Christ living through us.
Following Jesus isn’t about proving that we’re right. Sometimes the greater act of strength is having every opportunity to defend ourselves, expose the wrong, or settle the score—and choosing mercy instead.
