In this episode, Giana and Bradshaw talk about hands on assists. They share their experience with assists as students and what they enjoy or do not enjoy about being on the receiving end of an assist. They also dive into a renewed perspective on hands on assists from the teachers point of view. You can anticipate hearing about consent, responsibility and liability, power dynamics, supportive versus forceful assists and everything in between. As they detail some serious thoughts about the dos and don’ts of physical touch, they always keep up the tangential banter that really brings on the funnies. From stories about students who love assists or assists gone wrong, this episode remains equally informative and hilarious.
