A tale of a young boy, who spends the summer living with his grandparents in Mississippi. While there, he meets up with a young girl and the two become fast friends. But during their summer of adventure, our protagonist’s newfound friend shares a story with him, about some rather strange kids across the creek. This leads to an investigation, and things escalate quickly from there.
