So many think they deserve 100k plus but want to learn for multiple years while all other industry start at much lower this is specific for cyber .</p><p>For IT we recently posted a senior position and when we asked basic questions in office 365 majority couldn't even answer. The level of understanding is not the same as it used to be.&nbsp;</p><p>Now this i blame on three things. University have a lot of answer for from a learning and saying to students change jobs often and use it to springboard your salary.</p><p>Business need to be held accountable and not use staff as disposal tools. Recruit when required and train to improve and increase salary as the business grows&nbsp;</p><p>Third is students only want to learn to pass a course not to understand how and why you do it. I had an interesting chat with others that say students ask what they need to study for just tell us what going to be in the exam.
