Tomorrow is Dolly Day! That’s right. Friday the 25th of September. And we’re honouring her spirit today by reviewing the movie 9 to 5: https://www.netflix.com/watch/60010717
What a wonderful spirit the star of the movie and singer/writer of the song had. What a life well lived. If only she had known that her posthumous legacy would include AN EP OF THE CCCAH. Jeez. A crowning achievement up there with the Imagination Library and Dollyland! We’re honouring all sorts of stuff today, really. The 80s. The workspace. Big mainstream comedies. Riding the middle hour wave. You know. We do all your favourite pod bits. Long diatribes about what other awards are on offer if you have lost the regular season! And of course … another week without any kind of infographic. We could make an infographic with just that stat. At this point: 194 episodes and no infographics! But hey, let’s figure out what other made-up shit Christopher could play for, eh? How are them off-points looking? And hey, you know what they say? Friendship is a kind of payment. So pay up big boy! And golly, some weeks you pay more than other weeks … stay tuned for what Christopher has pitched for next week’s episode. Payback is personal! I just hope we stay more Wayne and Coleen and this doesn’t become all Coleen and Rebekah, you know what I mean?
