Chapter 11 is called \"Tools for Sculpting Behavior: Stories\" and it's a fun one. Michaeleen has fully embraced the idea of using stories to shape her daughter's behavior, including tales of monsters that live in the refrigerator, ceiling lights, heating vents, and outside in trees. We discuss how stories might be helpful for parents and SLPs. Next we get into chapter 12, \"Tools for Sculpting Behavior: Dramas.\" This chapter describes acting out real scenarios that have taken place to teach children about their behavior. As always, we question some of Michaeleen's decisions, but in the end we enjoyed these chapters quite a bit.

Head to patreon.com/theslpbookclub/membership to join our new interactive online book club community!
