Gary and Emily take us past half a century with analysis from Sheffield United.
Lincoln City's 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United gives Gary and Emily plenty to disagree about in episode 501 of the Stacey West Podcast. Emily wasn't impressed with what she saw at Bramall Lane, while Gary has arrived armed with enough stats to get another xG argument going.
We discuss the missed chances, defensive mistakes, team selection and whether this could be the moment for some of our summer signings to get their opportunity.
There's also the away day experience to pick over, from the flat atmosphere to crowded steps and chaotic food queues, although Gary's chicken pie and roast potatoes seem to have gone down rather better. Back at Sincil Bank, we discuss the temporary stand becoming a home supporters area and welcome the news of Tendayi Darikwa's new contract.
We also reflect on our 500th episode interview with Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw, their partnership and the signed shirt Gary appears determined to keep. There's a quick word on West Ham, plus the usual diversions involving live music, a gold chain and a rather expensive piece of Lincoln City history.
