I wanted to find out what drew her to work with people who are grieving and our conversation was wide-ranging and fun. As Vanessa recounted her earliest losses it was clear that her curiosity about grief both helped her heal and find her calling. I loved Vanessa's take on creativity as a way to help support kids in grief, the importance of conversations about death, as well as her focus on ritual as a critical piece of healing. We talked openly about depression too, which is an important, yet often overlooked layer of grief.</p><p><br></p><p>You can find Vanessa on <a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/kintsugi_grief_center/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram</a> , <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=kintsugi%20grief\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook</a> , or <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/all/?fetchDeterministicClustersOnly=true&amp;heroEntityKey=urn%3Ali%3Aorganization%3A89906633&amp;keywords=kintsugi%20grief%20center&amp;origin=RICH_QUERY_SUGGESTION&amp;position=0&amp;searchId=89ee6538-1e5e-4aad-b0c4-65813cc420d5&amp;sid=uSI&amp;spellCorrectionEnabled=false\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn</a> or on her website <a href=\"https://www.kintsugigrief.com/loss-specific-support-groups\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kintsugi Grief Center</a></p><p><br></p><p>To leave comments please rate and review on Apple podcasts or visit me on my substack: <a href=\"https://annfaison.substack.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\"I'm Listening.\"</a></p><p><br></p><p>Special thanks to Josephine Wiggs for the intro and outro music, from her album <a href=\"https://josephinewiggs.bandcamp.com/album/we-fall\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\"We Fall.\"</a></p>","author_name":"Ann Faison"}
