Looze is a fellow alum of Living Systems and the Akashic Mentorship with Leah Garza. They are a 4/6 Generator who was born with Virgo Rising, an Aquarius Sun, and a Capricorn Moon (including that juicy early 1990 Cap stellium!).

A.P. shared their moving story of their “mystical meltdown”--a confrontation with and surrender to profound pain and grief. As a result of this intense shedding process, A.P. has been able access an increased capacity for love and accept their role as the seer of the family. Through their varied artmaking and “imperativeness of connectedness,” A.P. continues to rise to the occasion of being alive with infectious gusto.

Check out Elisabeth Workman’s response to A.P.’s performance I Can See The Sky (and listen to a couple recordings from the show!)

Wild Iris by Louise Glück

A.P. They are a 2023-2025 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow, a 2025 Cedar Commission Fellow, 2019 Artist on The Verge Fellow, 2018 Naked Stages Fellow, among other awards. They make music, flags and performance art among other mediums—following both their whims and heart. They believe in art as a spiritual practice—to make meaning of life’s greatest griefs and joys, to make sense of mystery—a place to ask life’s most existential questions in an embodied way. Their Akashic practice is a means of channeling messages of love’s infinite story and are called to spread its word, magic, gospel, wisdom, and embodiment in as many ways as possible in this lifetime.

Contact A.P. through Instagram: @wahoolooze
","author_name":"Mary Schuch & Jonathan Koe "}
