Nichole delves back into sick kid territory with 2013’s The Harvest. This film does some nuanced things when it comes to the narrative of overbearing, harmful parents/caregivers, which softens the blow of some weaker narrative threads.
Instead of the film being an exploration of caregiver stress and burnout, like we’ve covered in other episodes, The Harvest lets us exist with Andy’s perspective albeit with a twist at the end.
