After a dive into some older fare, Nichole changes things up and talk about a recent film – 2022’s Pearl. This episode tackles a bit about the 1918 flu pandemic, caring for a loved one with a disability or illness during a pandemic, and the multitude of mental health issues this film touches on.
This was an episode where it seemed fitting to chat about mental health and had to call in support from one of my favorite people: Mike Snoonian, the loveliest person and therapist behind the boards at The Pod and The Pendulum and PsychoAnalysis: A Horror Therapy podcasts. Any time I get to chat with Mike is time I treasure and he brought the brilliance and humor to this conversation.
