Helen Grimshaw is one of the Co-Founders of Peli Health – an organisation launched to support and be a part of generational change in women’s health. Through Peli Health, she aims to change the conversation around pelvic health and care via education and empowerment.
Helen shares the story behind Peli Health and what inspired her to create this platform. She highlights how a lack of understanding, awareness, and support impacted herself, and consequently led for her to co-found this organisation with Kerstin Recker.
Helen and Jess discuss pelvic health, including what it is, common misconceptions, and how this impacts you at every stage of your life (not just post-partum).
Helen goes on to outline how Peli Health is working to make is easier for people to get access to the information and support required regarding their pelvic health. This includes integrating both clinical and holistic care, to create a service that fully supports women in every aspect.
