My mother-in-law Ruth invites herself over for dinner again, and she’s just terrible. Saul will do anything to make her happy, but she’s constantly negging me. When her friends come to visit, Saul agrees to have them stay at our house (without asking me), and I’m surprised that they’re actually not terrible. We kind of bond, but then Ruth comes and takes them away. I try to make peace with her by inviting them all to a concert, but Ruth declines out of pride (even though she really wants to go). For revenge, I take her friends and rub them in her face.
