Dr. Ben Rader and I discuss the concept of “chosen family”. It turns out that almost everybody has a chosen family if they take a moment to consider the idea. Ben helps us understand the important role a chosen family provides in creating social belonging as well as important opportunities it provides to either perpetuate or change the roles we play in our most important relationships.
