Tyler and Liam are back to break down a massive win for the Edmonton Oilers after they knocked off the NHL’s top team, the Colorado Avalanche, by a score of 4–3.
It didn’t take long for the drama to start, as Colorado opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the game. But Edmonton responded in a big way, with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scoring twice while Jack Roslovic and Connor McDavid also found the back of the net.
The game took a controversial turn when Nathan MacKinnon crashed into the crease and collided with Oilers goaltender Connor Ingram, resulting in a five-minute major for goaltender interference. Colorado eventually battled back to tie the game, but McDavid delivered the dagger in the third period with the game-winning goal.
