Ishan a young, talented Melbournian singer songwriter (along with a sample of his music) and news from the Melbourne International Film festival with Kate Fitzpatrick, Programmer at MIFF.
ISHAN’s music is rooted in intimacy and reflection. His writing feels like a quiet conversation in motion — the kind you might have with yourself while driving home in the rain. Blending indie acoustic pop with cinematic storytelling, his songs trace the fine line between truly living and merely existing, exploring love, ambition, and the quiet moments that define both.

Kate has worked in the Arts for over 15 years. She has served on the jury for Melbourne Fringe, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, WA Screen Awards, Dome Under Film Festival, appeared on panels at SXSW Austin and Sydney, St Kilda Film Festival, Good Movie Mondays podcast, ABC radio and Triple R and was one of Screen International’s Future Leaders in 2024.
