The sweet smell of freshly mowed grass courts is here! And of course that means the Tennis Weekly trio of Joel, Kim and Chris are ready to kick-off with their first official podcast of the 2024 grass court season.
The Brits are off to a cracking start to the grass with two titles already. Katie Boulter battled fellow Brit Emma Raducanu, the rain, and former World No. 1 and Wimbledon Finalist Karolina Pliskova to defend her Nottingham title, whilst Jack Draper won his first tour title in Stuttgart to become British No. 1 with an impressive performance against grass aficionado Matteo Berrettini. Alex de Minaur and Liudmila Samsonova also claimed the trophies in s’Hertogenbosch.
Meanwhile, the Olympics are looming, with the exciting announcement that Carlos Alcaraz and Rafa Nadal will team up in Paris, whilst Emma Raducanu has turned down the prospect of a wildcard, to the consternation and surprise of many.
We also hear from Andy Murray and Carlos Alcaraz live from the Queen's Club as Tennis Weekly hits the grass courts of the famous Wimbledon warm up event.
