Elements of the far right are trying to promote the saving of the image of Aunt Jemima, the former decades old, trademarked image and brand for PepsiCo's world-famous ready-mix pancake mix and syrups. PepsiCo removed the image, acknowledging that it portrayed a racist and degrading image of Black Americans. Right Wingers who somehow value those times as a better time in America, are losing their freaking minds. They are demanding the image be returned. They don't care if it is offensive to a sizable portion of the nation. They feel justified in a public display of their racists attitudes, because it is part of American history they value most.
