Whether you’re a rattan girlie, a bamboo boy or a sexy seagrass non-binary, our Wicker review has something for everyone. In Wicker, an ostracised fisherwoman commissions the local basketmaker to weave her a husband, but when her wicker creation proves unexpectedly extraordinary, his presence ignites jealousy and upheaval that threatens their quiet village. We bow down to the brilliance of Olivia Colman and Alexander Skarsgård for their nuanced and tender performances, marvel at the film's sound design and immersive aesthetic, and of course, get horny for all things Wicker. It’s a basketcase of a review and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
