I brought her back on to settle something that's been eating at me: is fixing education about more funding, or is the entire institutional model rotten at the root? We get into the girl who graduated high school with a 4.0 and still can't read, why 21% of American adults are functionally illiterate and why I think the answer isn't reform, it's a thousand different answers happening at once.
