Get ready for a spine-chilling Halloween special as we dive deep into five terrifying, true encounters submitted by listeners across the mountains and hollows of Appalachia. From a young boy in Rainsville, Alabama, visited by a misty figure while home sick in 1998, to a terrifying brush with a silent devil figure on a dark North Carolina street on Halloween night in 1989. We also explore a chilling morning commute on Brimstone Road in Coolville, Ohio, where a roadside worker vanished into thin air, a decade-old haunted hayride mystery involving an uninvited and unidentifiable phantom visitor, and a terrifying 2023 Halloween encounter with a black-eyed child on the edge of Brush Mountain Road in Blacksburg, Virginia. Turn down the lights, lock your doors, and join us as we explore the darkest folklore and high strangeness the region has to offer.
