Sue Williams retired from 40 years policing in MPS at the rank of Commander responsible for the Criminal Justice Portfolio working closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver prosecutions and custody provisions in London.
Previously Sue was responsible for Safeguarding and Public Protection Portfolio which had 14 areas of critical vulnerabilities for communities across London. As a Chief Officer, Sue managed risk, compliance, technology, innovation, audit, and stakeholder management as well as developing national policy.
Sue was kind enough to sit down with me and look back at her remarkable career in UK policing.
