This week we sit down with Matt Trott, spending over twenty years working in British policing, Matt worked all over the country in units responsible for the management of human sources and even carrying out covert operations to gather evidence against some of the UK's most dangerous gangs. We discuss Matt's transition from the army to the front lines of policing in the west midlands as an operational police officer and to becoming a detective sergeant.
Later we will discuss Matt's work managing human sources and the dangers associated with these high risk environments, as well as his work in public order policing which would eventually see him injured, during violence at a football match that led him to retire from the job he loved.
