Tea takes a different approach. He seeks to understand what kind of people are drawn to non-mainstream beliefs and movements, often at the risk of their personal relationships, their livelihood, credibility, and in some cases, their lives.</p><p>He’s also not afraid to insert himself into his stories, observing up close and often becoming an active participant in the world of his subjects. The results are a much more vulnerable and empathetic look at our fellow citizens and their sometimes troubling worldviews.</p><p>------------------</p><p><strong>Dig Deeper</strong></p><ul><li>Visit Tea Krulos at<a href=\"https://teakrulos.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> teakrulos.com</a></li><li>Follow Tea Krulos on<a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/teakrulos/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Instagram</a>,<a href=\"https://www.threads.net/@teakrulos\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Threads</a>,<a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/theTeaKrulos\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Facebook</a>, and<a href=\"https://twitter.com/TeaKrulos\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Twitter (X)</a></li><li>Check out books by Tea Krulos at<a href=\"https://bookshop.org/search?keywords=%22Tea+Krulos%22\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Bookshop</a>,<a href=\"https://www.powells.com/searchresults?keyword=%22Tea+Krulos%22\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Powell's</a>,<a href=\"https://www.amazon.com/stores/Tea-Krulos/author/B00E8VHFVO?store_ref=ap_rdr&amp;isDramIntegrated=true&amp;shoppingPortalEnabled=true\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Amazon</a>, and<a href=\"https://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/%22Tea%20Krulos%22?Ntk=P_key_Contributor_List&amp;Ns=P_Sales_Rank&amp;Ntx=mode+matchall\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Barnes &amp; Noble</a></li><li><a href=\"https://www.technologyreview.com/2020/07/15/1004950/how-to-talk-to-conspiracy-theorists-and-still-be-kind/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">How to talk to conspiracy theorists—and still be kind</a></li><li><a href=\"https://www.cbc.ca/news/science/fake-news-misinformation-online-1.5196865\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">How to Spot Misinformation and Disinformation Online</a></li><li>For expanded show notes and other episode information, go to this episode’s page on <a href=\"https://www.spotlightonpodcast.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">spotlightonpodcast.com</a>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>------------------</p><p>• Did you enjoy this episode?
