Race results and training woes","description":"
Welcome to episode 321 of the Women’s Running podcast, or what I’ve decided to call the Dusty Bin episode (joke purely for Generation X Brits, not even apologising for it). I’m your host Esther Newman and she’s your other host Holly Taylor. On this podcast we talk about health, politics, stuff on TV and what we ate last night. Occasionally, we talk about running.

Race results

Today, we’re talking through some of the races and results that have been going on in the world, from the Berlin marathon to the V10K. And then we quickly get on to running – I’ve had a bit of setback and I need all your good vibes, please. A bit of a calf strain has sent me running to the physio (if not actually running). Will I make it to the start line of Dublin marathon? Holly is also having issues, but of the gastric variety. Yum. We are firmly in the pits of training right now – send thoughts and prayers

Magazine goodness!

This is where I shout about the mag – if you’re hovering over the subscribe button, then THIS is the moment to click on it, because Women’s Running this month has teamed up with Bimble & Bolt (yes, *the* Bimble & Bolt who make the best leggings ever) to offer you a FREE Runner’s Advent Calendar worth £42 when you subscribe. It is an excellent calendar – you get 24 premium running pressies, from tasty treats to super socks. And if you subscribe now, you’ll also save 50% off the mag too. But hey look, we’ve only got limited stock of the calendar, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Patreon

Do also come and join us over on Patreon because it’s brilliant there – you get ad-free listening, early access to some of our pods, and free tickets to our live podcasts.
