How Jesus Christ intervened in three separate plant medicine ceremonies to bring me home.
There is an old saying, which goes as follows:
✨ The Lord works in mysterious ways ✨
Not long after my spiritual awakening of November 1996, I was visited by Christ's representatives; my sense was that the 'Christ Team' had come that night to welcome me into their ranks, perhaps as a junior member!
This was a profound moment of transformation, having suffered through 18-months of darkness (the Long Dark Night of the Soul), life-force depleted with chronic insomnia & lethargy. Everything would change for me that night in Toronto, my place of birth. And this was the most Divine rebirth experience of my entire life! As I would learn in the following months & years this was just the beginning. The integration process lasted several weeks; including a poignant reunion with my sister Paula, who had tragically passed away eight years prior.
It was a Divine Moment which I shall never forget. But the Christ stories I wish to share here occurred in the space of 13 months, between 2012-13. And all three interventions share a common theme:
Jesus the Christ coming to my aid while under the influence of powerful plant medicines. Each time He showed up at the perfect moment: me weary & distraught, with barely enough energy to stay seated. And core to His message was for me to cease & desist from this type of practice.
He sat with me, comforted me... reminded me that there is no need to suffer in this way.
The third & last encounter was exquisite, looking back, as I have not participated in any plant medicine ceremonies these last ten years!
