This week Amanda is joined by internationally acclaimed artist and fine art painter Aly Harte. It is a very insightful, open hearted and emotional story of resilience and how her dads passing when she was a young child changed her perspective and outlook on life. She talks about the steps and challenges of making her artwork financially viable as a business as well as the pressure/guilt of balancing her career whilst raising 3 young kids.
BIO: Aly Harte is a painter whose Father died the week before her eighth birthday and she credits her ambition to the journey of this loss. Using paint Aly places importance on everyday moments, memories, places and things. Upon turning 40 she became a personal trainer and now also leads women in a journey of self acceptance teaching them how to know and to love themselves from their brain to their bones through movement.
Aly lives with her husband Michael and three boys close to the beach in County Down. Northern Ireland. Included in the fun is their dog Mimi and cat called Tortilla.

She has coached/mentored for over 15 years as well as having a successful music career with 2 albums, UK/Irish & USA tours, worldwide airplay (including BBC Radio 6 and RTE Radio 1), a major synch in an international advert campaign and she even sang for the US President in Washington DC. But she only committed to her music career in her mid 30's after a near death experience in a car accident inspired her to reassess her life and finally follow her dreams.
