Arsenal maintained their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League by hammering Nottingham Forest 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

 

Defending champions Manchester City remain hot on their heels after beating Leicester, while there were also wins for Tottenham, Manchester United and the ever-impressive Newcastle.

 

However, it was an unhappy weekend for Liverpool who lost at home to Leeds, and Chelsea were swatted aside by Brighton.

 

Callum Wilson scored a brace for Newcastle against Aston Villa on Saturday. Marcus Rashford also got on the scoresheet in Man United's win over West Ham. Reiss Nelson came off the bench to score twice for Arsenal on Sunday. Liverpool lost to Leeds, leaving them eight points adrift of the top four
